Bernard Haykel and anti-Islam bigotry

"For his part, Bernard Haykel, a professor of Near Eastern studies at Princeton University, defended the film, whose script he vetted.

“The critics who are going to say, ‘Let’s not talk about it as an Islamic or Islamist movement,’ could end up not telling the story at all, or diluting it so much that you wonder where Al Qaeda comes from,” Dr. Haykel said."  1) Would Haykel dare to insist that any discussion of Israeli terrorism should include a discussion of Judaism and references to "Jewish" movements and theology? Would he dare?  Of course, not. He would not dare and we know that.  2) How much courage does it take to insult Muslims in the US, Mr. Haykel?   3) Just as there were professors in Nazi Germany who claimed that there was nothing in the Nazi regime's practices and propaganda that was anti-Semitic.
